While my DH has asked me not to POAS (pee on a stick) I still cannot help but wonder if I mustn't still do so...just to prepare me for the outcome of Thursday's beta test. One shouldn't really POAS before 9dpt, so in theory I could do this on Wednesday....or, another idea....I could POAS just after going for the beta test...just so I don't fall apart on the phone if it is neg.....
Eish. I simply don't know what to do yet.
um. P. No don't. I would have started POAS after walking out from the transfer, but that's me...
ReplyDeleteHow has POAS worked for you in the past? Apart from the BFN side of it, did you prefer to get the result from the stick or the phone call?
Sjoe, tough one. I would stay away from the sticks but that's just because I hate them! I seriously have a fear of them LOL I found living with the idea of "maybe" much better than knowing outright that it didn't work, although in your case :) It might be good news a day earlier than expected!

Aaaaah! The dreaded question!!! How about POAS just before the beta? I know I am not supposed to be overly positive.....BUT MAN I just have a feeling you are going to see those two lines!!
ReplyDeleteOh Lordi Aunty Cam. I know I would be thinking the same thing! Just this morning I thought to myself - if it was me I would now be having the POAS dilema. I would say - POAS just before your test - you dont want to POAS to early and get a botched reading. Hang in there!!! Breathe breathe - I also have a very strong feeling there are going to be two lines - perhaps for two babas?
ReplyDeleteThis is always such a tough one - the one and only time I POAS before my beta was when I was dead sure I was pregnant - I wasn't! And it devastated me.
ReplyDeleteFor me, I prefer to know 100% based on the beta result cos I know that even after seeing that one line that time, I was questioning it and did not really believe the pee stick until the bloods confirmed it...
I'm with DH on this one.
POAS once you've got that + beta :)

Cam, I am with theclam and MelissaCPT, stay away from the sticks, they just mess with your mind. Hold onto your hope, it feels so much better to be hopeful than to have doubts and still never be 100% sure until you see the beta anyway. But that's just me. Of course if you decide to POAS we NEED to know the outcome! Coz I am also with Waitingonamiracle that you will gget your BFP!
