14 Weeks yesterday! My bump is definitely growing...but I can't help but wonder if they are still there. I feel I need more assurance and have started feeling anxious again in the last few days.
A wonderful woman from the forum is posting me her fetal heart doppler, and it should arrive on Monday. I can't wait to get it so I can at least look for their heart beats and hear them. I am sure this will put me more at ease until I start feeling them move from about 17 - 18 weeks - from 16 June or so. 4 Weeks of anxiety...and my next OB app and scan is only in 18 days time!!! It is too long to wait to see them again. I might, just might have to book a sneaky scan with my dear Prof if the heart doppler doesn't cut it!
My heartburn, night peeing and growing belly give me some comfort, but it would be so great to see or hear them.
14 weeks! You will love the Doppler. I really struggled to find the heartbeats the first night, but Chris found them with a LOT of patience, so don't worry if you find you are struggling to find them. Last night Chris found Sausage straight away, but struggled fro Pdding and then handed the doppler to me and I found her straight away. Hard to hold onto the heartbeat when you do find it as they wriggle around so much.

ReplyDeleteawww Cam they ARE there, just quietly growing in the the safe dark world of your womb. I know how hard it is for you. May limitless peace and patience be with you at this time - can't check on the growth of carrots by pulling them out of the soil all the time. What about playing calm music to them because I know that you know they can feel your anxiety, your every mood. Even now. Big love to you all and rescue remedy - or some of the other flower remedies. They work well for me.
